NameCard

After Final Year Project is times for us to find a job ~ Our lecturer ask us to make a name card for finding job.I am thinking of making a name card that have my style. So at the first i sketch using pencil and paper, after approve by tutor i remake it using tablet.

This is sketch and color testing.After i confirm the style and the color i start to sketch the line using PainterSAI.

FYP_Particle effect texture

After finish character concept and pass it to 3D modeler,i had been consign to do particle effect texture. Honestly, this is totally different with concept art and the creating style also totally different. It take me a lot of times to figure it out and create it.

Here is my texture:



This is for gun fire,explore and grenade explosion effect.



This is the particle for portal in game.This is really tough and take me a lot of times. but the thing come out is quite ok.














Explosion particle and electricity, The explosion particle make me panic and it is really really tough.

Actually i haven try to do particle texture before,so this is a new challenge for me. This is also for my experience for my future next time.






FYP_Props concept design

I helping my teammate and do some of props design.Here is my design:
This is light concept art design ask from my leader.
This is the key item in game, my teammate ask me to design when she was busy for other stuff.At the first she told me that the concept is Orb like looking, and final they change into crystal look design.
Props and character design is a different thing and both have their challenging and interesting part. and both i also like it so much!

FYP_Character Design

I am sorry that i long times havent update my blog, but soon i will create a new website, but because i wrote my portfolio website here so i will updates my work here.

This is my last semester and we create a FPS ( First Person Shooter) with whole class as a group. I am glad that i had been given a job as concept artist and they ask us to sketch some of the character for the game.

Here is my work:
Because they want us to try different country and different style of design,so i come out different design with different country.
Change to the sci-fi style.

using my teammate silhouette to make a clear design.
 Four finalize character,from left to right is 19th style,alien,savage and sci fi style.
They choose the 19th style and sci-fi style and modify some.But they change the sci-fi style into a scientist.



And this is the finalization of character design.

This is my first times i had consign as a character concept art. it change and modify a lot, but this is a good experience  for preparing to face industry for my future.and actually i like it very much and i hope one day i can become a character concept artist.

[unreal] Unreal level design

   This is the level that i design for my unreal engine study.

   At the 1st i wan to design it as an art museum but it seem like i din hav many time to do all the props so it became indoor temple.
   This is what can we see inside the game~i ady import the game but now just show the level around the game.


   Wan to take a bath to clean all the blood from ur body after the war XDD?

[3D] Weapon Design-2

   This is the weapon i done for my game engine study to put it into the unreal engine.

   This is magic stuff and i name it as RubyStuff. don ask me why~I put the bone for the stuff and skin it and animate it for unreal use.The animate part is easy just some movement but i heard from other the importing part for the weapon is very very hard.I shud start to worry about that...

[3D] Character for game animation-4


i was doing the high poly character for the game animation. For the last few threat i do the low poly character for unreal engine.



   This is the one that i do in zbrush and convert back to obj and import back to 3DMax.So high poly until my computer very lag.

   Can see the bump map that i make in zbrush but the texture will let the bump look not so obvious?Maybe i will change the texture...

    I am doing the texture for the face to make my character face look more realistics.The glossiness map that tamara teach me is nice to use~thank you tamara~!
